How we developed an integrated and blended enablement portfolio to support SAP with continuous innovation and drive user adoption

Many organisations invest heavily in new software to achieve their business goals. While SAP innovation is at the core of these technological shifts, the complexity of new system implementation can hinder their progress. SAP turned to us to facilitate seamless user adoption across their solutions, powering and securing their users’ digital transformation. And that’s exactly what we delivered.

The challenge

Navigating user adoption in a fast-moving, continuously evolving software environment

SAP needed a flexible team to develop and maintain training content, keeping it aligned with continuous software updates. They sought a partner with deep product knowledge, exceptional technical expertise, and a clear understanding of what drives user adoption.

The challenges we encountered:

• Engaging key users and end users (K&EU) early to maximise adoption.
• Delivering training in the moment of need, directly within the app.
• Designing training based on realistic, everyday business scenarios.
• Ensuring users had access to anytime learning, with content tailored to their role or task.
• Training had to be kept up to date in parallel with continuous software improvements.

Our approach

Empowering users with seamless, on-demand learning

Leveraging our deep expertise in SAP products and services, we designed interactive tutorials that guide employees through real-world business scenarios. Each tutorial was centred around key processes, enabling users to quickly acquire the skills required to perform their tasks. Learning content was seamlessly integrated within the platform, offering on-demand support whenever users needed it most.

Following the successful pilot, we were selected to continue partnering with SAP. We provided a flexible team to:

• Identify deviations between system functionality and process scripts.
• Create tutorials that provided valuable contextual information to each process step.
• Refine production processes as the team expanded.
• Develop standards and guidelines for consistency across the project.
• Onboard new employees with training on tools and processes.

As a trusted partner, our team now adapts tutorials to align with the latest releases and maintains the SAP Enable Now Framework, a key component of this ongoing project.

The results

Empowering digital transformations by driving enterprise software adoption

What began as a small initiative with three packages and fewer than 20 tutorials has grown into a team of eight authors, delivering 150 packages and 1,200 tutorials. With every release, we continue to drive process improvements and efficiencies, ensuring the project’s ongoing success, which has received extremely positive customer feedback.

Thanks to our deep expertise in the SAP Enable Now tool, we now provide training for internal SAP staff. We collaborate closely with their staff to free up subject matter experts and make sure content is readily available in-app with each release. Our team scales up and down in line with quarterly release cycles and fluctuations in demand for updates and new material, making us a flexible and reliable partner in unlocking digital transformations worldwide.
